Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions we hear most.
Can you ship a gun to my house?
No. Federal law requires firearms to ship to a licensed dealer (FFL). You pick it up there after a background check. See How to Buy.
Can I pick up at your location?
Not at this time. We're an online store, so every firearm ships to an FFL dealer you choose.
How do I find an FFL dealer?
Most local gun shops, many pawn shops and some ranges take transfers. Call and ask if they accept transfers from online dealers and what they charge.
What does a transfer cost?
The receiving dealer sets their own fee and you pay it to them. Call ahead to ask.
Do ammo and accessories need a dealer?
No. Ammo, optics, lights, holsters and most gear ship straight to your door, where legal.
Which states do you ship to?
Firearms ship to 47 states. We don't ship firearms to California, Illinois or New York. Some items are restricted in certain states and cities; please check your local laws.
How old do I have to be?
18+ for rifles, shotguns and long-gun ammo; 21+ for handguns and handgun ammo through a licensed dealer.
What if I fail or get delayed on the background check?
Contact us. We'll work with your dealer on next steps per our store policies.
Can I return a gun?
See our store policies for returns and exchanges.
Can I buy a gun for someone else?
Not for someone who can't legally own one. That's a straw purchase, a federal felony. Gift questions? Ask your dealer first.
